Hi Everyone. I’m the new girl here, and I hope you will let me join you at the lunch table.

A little about me: I’m a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful little girls. In my former life, I was a software engineer for a global medical device company. I miss those days, but watching my girls grow and learn is reward enough for me. I’m married to my high school sweetheart. We have been together over half of my life and we have been through so much together. He’s the best husband. Enough gushing (Although he really is fabulous).

One of the things that my husband teases me about the most is that I have, in the past, spent 3 hours trying to find an online coupon to save 20 cents. I would like to say that it’s an exaggeration, but … well…. I like to save whenever I can.

Like most families, we grew up having to pinch every penny to make it go as far as possible. I started MamaSavesALot with the intention of finding you amazing deals to help you save just a few more of your own pennies.

There is a difference here, though. My goal is to alert you of great deals, but also to vet those deals against other sites. Frequently, Mommy pages will show you a “great deal” – THIS LEGO SET COSTS $10 ON MY LINK. But if you searched for 7 extra seconds, you would see that Walmart has the exact same lego set for $7. I will do my best to vet the posts that I make against other common big box stores to not give you a false “great deal.”

I’m also here because your time is important. If you are a working mom or stay-at-home mom, you are SUPER busy. You simply do not have time to go scrolling through the Amazon Deal of the Day or do research on the newest/best toys. Let me do it for you. Let me save you that time. And some $$ too.
