I love Ibotta. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a digital coupon app that you can earn money back on purchases. You can “cash out” at $20 for cash or a gift card. I have already saved over $75 with the app.
What it is…
This is what an Ibotta app screen looks like. Items are listed by category (See Beverages to the right) or “Hot” or “All”. You can scroll through to find the items that you are interested in. Click the “+” sign. The app usually presents you with an ad or a poll to watch/answer.
Click the “Verify Purchases” screen to take the next step toward your cash. You will scan the product barcodes of the items that match up with your coupons. You can do this when you are in the store and putting the item in your cart, or after you get home. Then click “Verify Purchases” and take a picture of your receipt.
The whole process takes a few minutes and some of the coupons are really good.

If you want to join, click my referral link HERE. You get $10 just for joining! Download it from your respective App Store/Google Play
Important * With most grocery stores, you have to take a picture of your receipt and link up items (although more and more stores are joining the ranks of linking directly to your shoppers club card). If you are shopping at a store that links your shopper’s club card directly, you MUST add the deal to your “Unlocked Deals” BEFORE shopping. If your shopper’s club card is not automatically linked to your receipt, you can add coupons/receipts up to a week after you shop.
Tips
One of the pains about Ibotta is that you have to scroll (and scroll and scroll) through all of the deals to find ones that apply to you.
But I thought it would be nice to see, in a single glance, what is available at any given time AND make sure that I don’t miss anything. I want to sort by name and also by $ savings. So here we go. Weekly article? Let me know if it’s helpful.
